THCP, or tetrahydrocannabiphorol, is a molecular homologue of THC distinguished by a seven carbon alkyl side chain. Laboratory research indicates that THCP interacts with both CB1 and CB2 cannabinoid receptors and demonstrates particularly high binding affinity for CB1. Its broader pharmacological profile and effects in humans have not yet been conclusively established.
