Usage

Used to heat cannabinoid blends while continuously mixing them with a magnetic stir bar. Heating lowers the viscosity of thick distillates, making different cannabinoids and other ingredients easier to combine into a fully mixed blend. The vessel is placed directly on the heating plate and stirring speed can be adjusted as the viscosity changes. For accurate processing, the actual blend temperature should be monitored rather than relying only on the hotplate setting.

Advantages

Controlled heating and mixing in one device
Provides continuous mixing without manual stirring
Heating reduces viscosity and improves mixing efficiently
Less oxygen exposure due to less stirring on the surface

Disadvantages

Plate temperature differs from the actual blend temperature
Requires a suitable magnetic stir bar

Specification notes

Minimum and maximum temperature range
Minimum and maximum stirring speed in RPM
Type of controls, from broad analogue knobs to precise digital settings
Heating plate size and plate material
Built-in temperature sensor or integrated probe holder

Safety notes

The heating plate, vessel and surrounding components can become very hot during and after use
Keep flammable substances away from the heat source
Place the device on a flat, stable and heat-resistant surface
