25-250ml glass jar | 3.3 Borosilicate

These durable glass jars are made from high quality borosilicate glass 3.3, offering excellent resistance to heat, chemicals and temperature fluctuations. Their standardized screw thread makes them suitable for laboratory, storage and processing applications.

Available in four sizes:

• 25 ml with GL 25 screw thread, approximately 25 mm thread diameter
• 50 ml with GL 32 screw thread, approximately 32 mm thread diameter
• 100 ml with GL 45 screw thread, approximately 45 mm thread diameter
• 250 ml with GLS 80 wide mouth screw thread, approximately 80 mm thread diameter

GL stands for Glass Laboratory thread and refers to a standardized laboratory screw thread. The number indicates the approximate thread diameter in millimetres. GLS 80 is a wide mouth laboratory thread designed to provide easier filling, emptying and cleaning.

The 25 ml and 50 ml jars can be used at temperatures up to 180°C with the cap fitted. The 100 ml and 250 ml jars can be used up to 140°C with the cap fitted. Without the cap, the borosilicate glass can withstand higher temperatures. Sudden temperature changes should be avoided to reduce the risk of thermal shock.
